From his family's kitchen, James began making candles using only the finest ingredients—organic soy wax and pure essential oils. As he continues his educational journey, studying business at university, he remains committed to growing his company and honing the skills that will drive his success as an entrepreneur. While he explores where his path will lead, James knows that his future lies in entrepreneurship.
History
Illuminated Essentials was established in the spring of 2023 by Founder and CEO James De Carvalho, who was a high school student at the time. With a commitment to quality, the company started with just two handcrafted candles made with organic soy wax and pure essential oils - no artificial fragrances or toxic chemicals. Since then, Illuminated Essentials experienced remarkable growth and dedicated extensive efforts to refine every aspect of its business – including new formulations, enhanced packaging, and strategic promotion. Illuminated Essentials is focused on elevating its offerings to enhance the experience of its valued customers.
